Leather Accessories Manufacturing in India

Maharya is an end-to-end manufacturing solution provider – from concept to creation to shipping directly to you.

We operate a state-of-the-art SEDEX & ISO:9001/ISO:45001 certified factory in Kolkata, India.

We offer complete post-production services, which include customized tags, barcodes, special packaging, gift boxes, and labels.

The factory is located approximately 15 miles from the shipping docks for fast and cost-effective shipping. We do not provide local warehousing. Post-production, the consignment is shipped  immediately to the client.

Our factory is 10,000 square feet and has the capacity to house one hundred workers. Our workers are skilled artisans whose families sometimes have been in the leather trade for generations. All workers are treated well, and we strictly comply with the labor laws of India with fair pay, reasonable work hours and time off, and of course, no minors work in our factory. We use top leather manufacturing equipment imported from Germany and Italy. In addition, we own land that can be developed for dedicated manufacturing for a customer  upon request.

How Leather Accessory Manufacturing Works

Design Requirements

Submit your designs, including material and hardware selection, via our online form. We have a vast collection of materials from which you can choose. In addition, we can also source special materials for you as an add-on service.

Digital Prototyping

We create 3D drawings as a digital prototype based on the designs for client approvals. This process depends on the rounds of edits the customer requires before approval.

Physical Sample
Prototyping

Once the 3D prototype is approved, we produce a physical sample and ship to the customer. This could take 3-4 weeks.

Manufacturing Production

Once the physical sample is approved, the entire order is produced. The typical timeframe is one hundred days ex-factory.

Shipping / Export

We do not store goods but immediately ship them to the customer. We ship worldwide. We pack the goods very carefully and inspect all goods before shipment. We operate per Freight On Board.

Private Labeling Product Orders

Private label manufacturing is the most cost-effective way to manufacture a product under your brand name. The client controls the product's intricate details, such as the color, style, design, packaging, label, and shipping.

At Maharya, we have a wide variety of items for your production requirements. We also assist you with all the add-ons and metal hardware that your product may require, such as zippers, pullers, hooks, rings, metal plates, oblique logos, base attachments and more

Custom Designs

Our in-house designers can work with non-designers to prepare a tech pack and drawings and bring your design ideas to life. Whether you simply want a monogram or you are planning a special event or a unique, one-of-a-kind gift, we can manufacture a product that no one in the world has except you!

External Factory Inspection

An in-depth knowledge of your prospective partners’ manufacturing facilities is an integral part of a business. A third-party neutral assessment and factory audit mitigates the business risk factor and develops trust that empowers a business.

We have the experience and expertise to inspect a factory on your behalf and provide a quality inspection audit in person to save you time and money without the hassles of traveling yourself.

At Maharya, our team thoroughly scrutinizes the factory site, inspecting legal and governmental mandatory clearances, human rights abuses, income and expenditure reports, employee safety issues, prohibitive labor issues, and manufacturing deficiencies. We provide you and the factory with action reports and the corrective measures to be implemented, listing minor, major, and critical lapses.

Once the corrective actions are implemented, we get the factory audited by a renowned and internationally recognized auditing body. This saves you the labor of moving mountains, and you have a manufacturing partner that meets your expectations and standards.
